Evolution Gun Works Ignition Kit for 1911 w/ Lightened Stainless Steel Hammer. Kit includes: EGW 1911 HD Stainless Steel Lightened Hammer EGW 1911 Ball Head Disconnector EGW 1911 Evolved Sear Spring 19# ISMI Main Spring This kit is not 100% drop-in and should be installed or checked over by a competent gunsmith prior to shooting. This ignition kit is a great upgrade for the Springfield Prodigy. The Mainspring in our Ignition kits will not work with an Officers model or Defender.

It will only work with mainsprings with an OAL of 2. This 1911 hammer is machined from carbon steel and is heat treated. We have found that coatings that require heat can cause brittleness and we have seen examples of hydrogen embrittlement from hard chrome. Please note not all parts are "drop in". As with all gun parts some installations may require disassembly and reassembly.

Some parts may require installation by a qualified gunsmith. ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOUR FIREARM IS UNLOADED BEFORE PERFORMING ANY MAINTAINANCE OR UPGRADES!!
