Smart Use & Safety Guide. Attach your 10-30 PSI air line to the moisture separator and gun. Plug the main unit into a grounded outlet.

Attach the black ground clip directly to the metal part you are spraying. Step 3: Fill & Spray. Fill a bottle with powder. Hold the gun 6-10 inches from your part, press the foot pedal, and pull the trigger to start coating. Carefully place your coated part in a preheated ELECTRIC oven (typically 400°F for 15 min, but check your powder's instructions).

Tips for a Perfect Coat. Prep is King: For best adhesion, your part must be perfectly clean. Remove all rust, grease, and old paint.

A bare metal surface is ideal. Solid Grounding: A poor ground connection is the #1 cause of bad results. Ensure the ground clip has a clean, tight connection to bare metal on your part. Start Low: Begin with the air pressure around 10-15 PSI.

Too much pressure will blow the powder right off the part. Always work in a well-ventilated area to avoid inhaling powder dust. Wear a dust mask or respirator. Curing powder can create flammable fumes. ONLY use a dedicated electric oven. Never use an oven that is also used for food.

Protect Yourself: The gun's tip carries a high-voltage, low-amperage charge. Avoid touching the metal tip. After use, always discharge it by touching the tip to the grounded clip. I'm a total beginner.

Safety glasses and a respirator are also highly recommended. How do I switch colors? That's why two bottles are included-you can keep your two favorite colors ready to go.

To switch to a new powder, simply unscrew the current bottle, pour out any excess powder, blow it out with compressed air away from your workpiece! , and fill it with the new color. The whole process takes less than a minute.
